It was 2:45 on February 7, 2008 and it was a beautifully sunny Florida afternoon, and as they say the third time was the charm. The Space Shuttle Atlantis went off without a hitch, which is exactly what NASA was hoping for after several previous attempts ended with countdown halts.
Perched atop the world's most complex machine with enough explosive power to decimate the surrounding areas can be more than a little daunting. Perfection is expected and demanded of all members involved of every step. This is one such demonstration of zero tolerance for error succeeding.
Tell me what you guys and gals think. I know that this is being submitted very late. I also realize that the ugly copyright notice gets in the way. However, it is a necessary evil. I appreciate all your comments and thoughts. Thanks.
picture perfect. you have a damn good reason for having the text on the picture. so i can't say anything about that. i myself can't critique it. you have my praise though.
Thanks very much for the kind words. I wish the watermarking weren't necessary. This is the kind of shot that takes itself, all I did was depress the shutter. Thanks again for taking the time to view it and comment on it.
i hear ya. my grandma gave me this old bellows camera (agfa isolette, check it out) and i never bothered with it. did some research, turns out they still make film for it. 120 roll film, which is used in magazines and shit. but yeah, going from digital to film made me lightweight nervous. i'm only really serious using film. just gotta learn to develop.
